Ajani Miller

I’m Ajani Miller, and I’m running for Director of Operations because I’m passionate about creating a positive and inclusive environment for all students. Before coming to George Brown College, I founded a finance club in my senior year of high school, where I took on leadership roles and worked to increase financial literacy among my peers. Since joining GBC, I’ve continued to take active roles, such as organizing events with the Student Association. I am deeply committed to advocating for diversity and inclusion for all races and genders. Every student deserves to feel valued and heard, and as Director of Operations, I will ensure that our campus is a place where everyone, regardless of background, can thrive. My experience in leadership and event management has given me the skills to address the needs of students. I will work to implement extended gym hours, increase scholarship awareness, and fight for the reopening of the St. James bar as a social space for students and more. I also believe in building a community where students feel a strong sense of pride in their school, in doing so I will leverage the partnership the school has with the Toronto Raptors to bring back the school spirit.
