Connor Jarvis — Candidate for Director of Education & Equity
I’m Connor Jarvis, a Project Management who understands what it means to meet stakeholder requirements which is why I’m running for Director of Education & Equity. I keep having the same conversation with classmates who didn’t know they could appeal a grade, students who had no idea the SA offers free legal help or groceries through SNAP, and people who felt like their feedback went nowhere.
When I actually read the DEE job description, I realized the role exists to fix exactly that.
My platform has three priorities: pushing for fair, consistent academic policies, especially around AI, where the rules change depending on your professor. Making equity a daily practice, real checklists, satellite campus inclusion, anti-discrimination campaigns. And closing the awareness gap between the SA’s services and the students who need them.
I’m not here to make promises I can’t keep, I’m here to listen first, then get the work done.
