Gloria Stefani

Hey everyone, I’m Gloria Marzena Stefani, I am 20 years old and currently a Medical Office Administration student with a strong interest in healthcare, fitness and having fun 🙂
I am Polish & Métis, and I came to Toronto from Ottawa last year. After graduating high school, I completed a certificate with the Minwaashin Lodge, which is an indigenous women’s support Centre for domestic violence survivors. Through them I was able to complete a support program as-well as continue my education, and I learned how important it is to have support and not isolate yourself especially when you are struggling. I believe and have seen that having a supportive faculty team and an open communication line, is the best way to have successful students and a prosperous environment.
I want to be a Faculty Representative because I care about making sure students have a voice and it is so important to have an outlet to share any opinion you may have or to be able to ask for help. We have the power to change what we need to and there are absolutely no limits to the possibilities of our futures. A quote that encapsulates my ideologies and my campaign so very well is, “Life is Roblox”- DJ Khalid, 2023.
I am someone you can come to with concerns, ideas, or anything that needs to be addressed, I will make sure it’s taken seriously and followed through on while staying positive and always thinking about the best <3
