Candidates Statement:

Dear fellow students,

My name is Rhutik, and I’m running for Director of Education and Equity. I believe that every student deserves a high-quality education and that we should all work together to make our campus community more diverse, inclusive, and equitable.

As Director of Education and Equity, I will prioritize listening to students’ concerns and creating reports to advocate for issues that are important to them. I will also collaborate closely with the Board of Directors and the Community Care Center to develop student-focused campaigns.

In addition, I will monitor and make recommendations to the Board of Directors on issues of equity and advocacy, and I will be the main contact for the Canadian Federation of Students for the Student Association.

If elected, I will work hard to advocate for policies that support diversity, equity, and inclusion and to address complaints received at George Brown College. I am passionate about promoting positive change, and I believe that I have the skills and experience to be an effective Director of Education and Equity.
