Barichisu Osman Abugbila
Hello, fellow students of GBC! Barichisu Osman is my name, but you can just call me Kisu. I’m a candidate for the Student Representative position for Community Services and Early Childhood Education Centre. I’m a domestic second-year student majoring in Child and Youth Care. I’ve worked in Community Service and development in a variety of capacities in the past. My professional and academic backgrounds both frequently highlight the importance of service users’ participation in the delivery of the services. Success cannot exist in the absence of equal representation. And as we know, in the absence of equity, oppression becomes the norm. I am passionate about representation and inclusiveness at the GBC Student Association as well as equal access to the Centre of Community Services and Early Childhood Center. I will serve as a reliable channel of communication between students and the GBCSA.
