Max Davidson
Hi folks! My name is Max and I’m the current Health Sciences Representative at the Student Association. I am a third semester nursing student looking to continue to make meaningful changes that consider the needs of students in the Health Sciences. With almost a year of experience on the board of directors, I am comfortable in the role and ready to continue the work to support the needs of students.
I’ve played a key role in many of the recent changes at the Student Association, including creating and chairing the Ad Hoc Transit Committee that is investigating the transit needs of students and operating the new PRESTO Loads program that provides $25 vouchers to students 2x per semester. I also advocated for an innovative and improved student health benefits plan that will come into effect in September 2024. Being a student is hard, and with additional time in the role, I intend to investigate more student issues including food insecurity and paid placements.
I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to continue advocating for students in the Health Sciences, and I am always open and willing to bring your concerns to the board about how to improve the student experience.
